Elliot Eisenberg ph. D

Does Housing Pay Its Way?
Elliot Eisenberg, Ph.D. is a nationally acclaimed economist and public speaker specializing in making the arcana and minutia of economics fun, relevant and educational.

Mr. Eisenberg will address this question by sharing estimates of new state and local income, jobs and new state and local tax revenue is produced due to new home construction activity in the State of Iowa.

Mr. Eisenberg will then focus on comparing the benefits of new construction to the costs of new construction on the State of Iowa in the form of new roads, new schools, new sewer systems, and new parks as well as annual teacher, police and fire salaries and all the other annual costs that state and local governments must pay to provide public services. In this way, it answers the always vexing question of does housing pay its way!
